ArogyaQ is committed to clear and fair cancellation/refund practices for OPD token bookings. The amount paid by a patient may include two parts: hospital consultation fee and ArogyaQ platform convenience fee.
If you cancel your token before your token is called by staff, you will receive a full refund of the consultation fee (the amount charged by the hospital).
If a hospital cancels the token, the doctor becomes unavailable, or the hospital cannot honour the token due to operational reasons, the consultation fee is refundable as per the status recorded in ArogyaQ.
The platform convenience fee (typically ₹15–₹30 depending on the hospital) is non-refundable in all cases. This covers payment gateway costs and platform operations.

Walk-in tokens booked at the counter through cash are handled by hospital staff. If staff cancels an eligible cash walk-in token, the hospital consultation fee refund is managed at the hospital counter and reflected in the hospital cash ledger inside ArogyaQ.
Approved online refunds are initiated from ArogyaQ within 1-2 business days. The final credit to the original payment method usually takes 5-7 business days, depending on the payment gateway, bank, or UPI provider.
